Desciption 

It is a standardised European course teaching evidence-based resuscitation guidelines and skills to healthcare professionals. The ALS course provides a standardised approach to cardiopulmonary resuscitation in adults. The ALS course aims to train candidates to identify the causes of cardiac arrest, recognise patients in danger of deterioration, and manage both the cardiac arrest and the ‘peri-arrest’ problems encountered in the first hour or so after initial resuscitation from a cardiac arrest.​ 

Suitable For

​The Resuscitation Council UK E-ALS course is for health professionals wanting to expand and increase their medical knowledge. Common participants include: doctors, senior nurses and ambulance staff.

Further Information 

The course lasts for one day – the program starts promptly at 08:30 and finishes around 18:00. Candidates booking onto the course will receive the course manual a minimum of 4 weeks before the course start date – please note that there is now NO post course MCQ – it is mandatory by the RCUK that the precourse MCQ must be completed before the start of day 1. If not completed, you will not be allowed to take part in the teaching and no refund will be given.
